Overview:
O/L and A/L are the standard examination systems available for our children as testing methods to assess whether they are capable of entering into higher education. However, according to the research conducted by academics, it is obvious that the children fail these standard exams due to various social, economic and technical distractions that divert them from traditional learning processes. Most of the children in this category are having different capabilities that ought to be recognized by the academic world and give them an opportunity to get back on the track. Therefore, ACBT has decided to introduce this new pathway program to help students who do not have sufficient qualifications to enter University Foundation Program.

Pathways
ACBT is a pathway provider for entry to Edith Cowan College (ECC) and a pathway provider for entry into Edith Cowan University (ECU). ECC is located on Edith Cowan University campuses in Perth, Western Australia. Also, ACBT is a franchised education institution of Middlesex University, UK. ACBT offers smaller class sizes, more personalized attention from lecturers, and state-of-the-art facilities.

Students need to successfully complete all Six (06) subjects with an average of 50% per subject and need to secure an overall 50% to progress to the ACBT University Foundation program.

Course learning outcomes |
The Pre-Foundation Program at ACBT is designed to ensure that students without O/L qualification are able to gain entry to the University Foundation program at ACBT by enhancing their competency skill levels to meet the standard required at the end of secondary school.
The objective of the Pre-Foundation Program at ACBT is to provide an alternative pathway to tertiary education programs for those students including local and international students who are disadvantaged by their geographical location, family situation, educational history or other circumstances whereby they are unable to participate in other entry mechanisms.
It equips students with the skills and capabilities to enter tertiary study. The program focuses on entry to the University Foundation Program which has the following disciplines.
